I was born and raised in North Vancouver, BC, Canada.  I can't see living anywhere else as this city is very beautiful and the climate is good.  Very rare to have snow and if we do it lasts a day or two and then is washed away by rain.

I am married, have grown children.  My son is married and had a different kind of wedding than most.  His was done in ancient Scottish style, complete with the bagpipes, of course.   His wife is of Scottish descent too.

My wife is not from here, she was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.  Even though she has been here for her adult life, she has never gotten used to the rain and wants us to move to Ottawa.  That is the only thing we have disagreed on since we married.  I just can't see myself freezing in the winter and living with all that snow.

I work as a mechanic's helper.  At my age it is hard to get a good selection of jobs and like most find I have to work everyday and sometimes need two jobs to get by.  I prefer to work rather than hang around home.  I like hockey and my team, even though they stink most games is the Vancouver Canucks.  Used to go to a lot of their games until they moved to their new building at GM Place, then the prices got way to high.  Last time my wife & I went we had to pay over $40.00 each and that put us way up near the top.  Even the food and pop is too expensive.

I like cars, older models.  Like to work on them.  The new ones you can't tinker with like the old ones.  I like people and get along well with just about everyone.   I like listening to music, Burton Cummings, David Foster, Celtic music, Shania Twain, country/western, but my favorite singer is Celine Dion.  That lady can sure sing!
