Arnold Wallace Kidd
      1925 - 1980

My Father was a very young man when he married my Mother who was also quite young. He was in the Canadian Army during the war and for 13 years after that. He never got to go overseas as he was too young.

Dad was very active in all physical sports. In winter he had junior, pee wee, and bantam teams that he coached in Ottawa. While he cheered on the Maple Leafs, he secretly liked the Montreal Canadiens. We skied, snow-showed, played hockey, baseball, football, swam, fished together a lot.

Mom and Dad seperated in 1960 and Mom moved from Ottawa, Ontario to Vancouver, BC with my brother and I. They later divorced and Dad remarried and had two more sons and a daughter.

Dad died of Cancer at 55 years of age after a 4 year battle with it. I am sure he is a lot more comfortable where he is now and thankfully no longer suffering.

      Love you Dad !
